I remember hearing this quote in my early styling days and it applies to life beyond fashion.

The goal isn’t to make every day perfect,
it’s to become so grounded in yourself that an off day doesn’t take you out.

Because it will happen.
The outfit will suck.
Your energy will be off.
Your confidence will feel like imposter syndrome.

And instead of spiraling, you stay.

HERES HOW ⬇️

1. Stop tying your identity to the day.
A bad day isn’t a bad you. Detach your self-worth from your mood, your outfit, your productivity. You’re allowed to have an off day without questioning everything.

2. Have a baseline version of yourself.
Not your “best self” your consistent self. The version of you that still shows up, still gets dressed, still moves forward… even if it’s at 60%.

3. Simplify when you’re off.
This isn’t the day to reinvent yourself. Go back to what always works, your go-to outfit, your routine, your grounding habits. Familiarity creates stability.

True self isn’t built on perfect days.
It’s built on the days you could’ve checked out… and didn’t.

Life goes on whether you hold yourself back or not.

Most people aren’t actually judging you as much as you think and even if they are, they move on. You’re the one who has to live with the choices you make or avoid. Playing small to keep others comfortable just creates frustration you’ll eventually have to face.

Other people’s opinions are usually shaped by their own fears and limits, not your potential. So if you keep letting that guide you, you’re building a life that fits them, not you.

At some point, you have to decide: do you want approval, or do you want a life that actually feels like yours?

Most people think the block is their situation, their job, their relationship, their timing, their finances. But if you’re honest with yourself, how many times have you known what you needed to do and just didn’t do it?

You don’t need to eliminate hesitation, you need to shorten how long you sit in it. Catch it faster, decide sooner, and move before you talk yourself out of it.

You’re not stuck, you’re hesitating and that’s something you can change.

This is 38 🎂

Every birthday comes with reflection, and renewed perspective, but this year I am hit with a knowing I havnt had for a while…

When I was younger and people would ask me what I would want to do with my life I could never tell them “what” exactly, but I could always describe how I wanted to feel.

I’m realizing that life for me, is chasing that feeling I get from helping others where I saught guidance myself but could never find it. I didn’t have someone telling me “it’s OK to not know, so let’s figure out what you do know” or encouraging me in unique interests I felt excited about so I focused on a very tangible, acceptable and relatable space: fashion. I could transmute what someone felt into what they wore and it became a way to communicate clearly and intentionally, while helping to heal and transform.

However it has never really been about the clothes. It helped empower me where I felt like I didn’t know where to go next and set me up for this next era in my life and my career.

Im here to help you find that feeling you want to chase, that aha moment where everything makes sense. I want to encourage you to burn it down, watch it grow, make mistakes, celebrate wins and see that you’re not really lost, you’re just launching into a place you’ve never been before. It doesn’t have to be scary, it can be this great unraveling that propel you into people, places experiences that make you feel like you’re at home.

That’s what 38 is, I’ve never been here before but damn am I excited❤️
